Samuel Dawit

Samuel Dawit is a professional with a diverse background in technology, public safety, and partnerships. Currently serving as the Technology Partnerships Manager for Postman and a Police Commissioner for the City of Oakland, Samuel plays a key role in overseeing public safety services and violence prevention. Additional leadership roles include membership in the Community Policing Advisory Board and Partnership Leaders. Previously, Samuel held positions at Fivetran as a Senior Product Partnerships Manager and at Zendesk in Sales Operations. Recognized as a Forbes 30 Under 30 Scholar, Samuel's early career includes roles in financial analysis at Kaiser Permanente and as a Lead Undergraduate Case Analyst at John Burris Law Offices. Samuel holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Data Analytics from San Francisco State University and graduated from Saint Mary's College High School.
