Hugo Rodrigues

Hugo Rodrigues is an accomplished news professional with extensive experience in editorial management and journalism. Currently serving as the News & Engagement Editor for Postmedia Network Inc. since March 2014, Hugo supports editorial teams across Eastern Ontario and leads the Cornwall team at the Standard-Freeholder. Previous roles include managing editor at the Standard-Freeholder, multimedia journalist at Sun Media, and various reporting positions with a focus on local politics and community issues. Additionally, Hugo has served as a sessional instructor in new media journalism at Conestoga College and was recognized as a Gordon N. Fisher Canadian Journalism Fellow at Massey College. Educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Carleton University.
