Lau Akkermans

Lau Akkermans is an experienced professional in data analytics and commercial insights, currently serving as the Manager of Commercial Insights at PostNL since September 2020, leading a team of 20 data analysts and scientists. Prior to this role, Lau was the Manager of Insights & Analytics at PostNL, overseeing a smaller team dedicated to providing actionable insights to commercial employees. Before joining PostNL, Lau worked at PwC Nederland for nearly nine years, progressing from Consultant to Senior Consultant and eventually Manager in the Data Analytics group. Earlier experience includes a Graduate Internship at NIBC Bank and a Junior Analyst position at Aon Consulting. Lau holds an MSc in Quantitative Financial Econometrics and a BSc in Econometrics, both from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
