Mathijs van Zon is currently the Platform Owner at PostNL, where they lead innovative teams focused on automated route and workforce planning. Previously, Mathijs served as a PhD Candidate in Operations Research at ESE Erasmus University, conducting research on cost-sharing among transportation companies, culminating in publications and presentations across multiple countries. Mathijs holds a Master of Science in Econometrics and Management Science from Erasmus School of Economics and has also contributed as a PhD Representative for the LNMB. Their academic background includes degrees in Applied Mathematics and Applied Physics from TU Delft.
