Rozemarijn Kalkman

Rozemarijn Kalkman has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Rozemarijn is currently the Chief Privacy Officer at PostNL, a position they have held since February 2022. In addition, they are the Founder of Street Kitchen, an initiative that promotes community engagement through shared meals and outdoor dining events in Rotterdam. Rozemarijn has also volunteered as a host for film and concert events at LantarenVenster and worked as a volunteer for Bron- en Contactonderzoek at Rode Kruis Nederland. Prior to their current roles, they served as the Legal Director at ADP Nederland B.V. from August 2016 to March 2020. Rozemarijn has also held positions as a Senior Legal Counsel at Sanoma and Legal Counsel at Canon EMEA. Their early career includes experience as a Lawyer and Paralegal at Clifford Chance, as well as an Intercedent at Start People.

Rozemarijn Kalkman has an extensive education history. Rozemarijn obtained a Master's Degree in International and European Law from Leiden University in 2003. In 2005, they completed the Beroepsopleiding Advocatuur from the Nederlandse Orde van Advocaten. In 2016, they pursued a Postgraduate Degree in Specialisatieopleiding Nationaal en Internationaal Contracteren at the Grotius Academie. In 2019, Rozemarijn attended Harvard Business School Executive Education to earn a Postgraduate Degree in Authentic Leader Development. Rozemarijn furthered their education in 2020-2021 at the ADR Instituut, obtaining a Postgraduate Degree in Professional Education Legal Mediator/ADR Specialist. Rozemarijn enrolled in Erasmus University Rotterdam in 2021 for a Premaster program in Arts, Culture, and Society. Additionally, Rozemarijn recently completed a Postgraduate Degree, specializing in Privacy and Data Protection, at Leiden University in 2022. Rozemarijn also obtained a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) certification from IAPP in the same year.
