Thijs Kerckhoffs

Thijs Kerckhoffs has extensive experience in various leadership roles, currently serving as the Directeur-bestuurder for the PostNL Bijzondere Momenten Fonds since October 2017, where the focus is on enhancing connections within society through collaboration with charitable organizations. Thijs played a pivotal role in establishing this fund and has also negotiated sponsorship contracts for the cycling team Team Picnic PostNL. Prior to this, Thijs was a Programmamanager for HR Strategy at PostNL, developing HR initiatives for improved working conditions. Thijs's background includes serving as a political advisor to the Minister of Social Affairs and Employment, policy advisor at FNV, and research roles in corporate social responsibility and policy analysis at the European Parliament and SOMO. Thijs holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from Erasmus University Rotterdam and has pursued further education in various institutions, including Maastricht University and Hogeschool Leiden.
