Birdie Meyer

Birdie Meyer has extensive experience in the field of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, serving as the Education & Training Director at Postpartum Support International since June 2000. In this role, Birdie is involved in the certification and training of professionals, as well as international training initiatives. Prior to this, Birdie worked at Indiana University Health from May 1975 to December 2018 as an RN and Coordinator for the Perinatal Mood Disorders Program. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Indianapolis, a Master of Arts in Psychology/Counseling from Butler University, and a Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies/Counseling from Christian Theological Seminary. Birdie's work has significantly contributed to raising awareness and support for women experiencing emotional challenges related to pregnancy and childbirth.
