Guilherme Duarte, EIT has a diverse work experience in the field of renewable energy and engineering. Guilherme currently works at Potentia Renewables Inc. as a Project Supervisor, Operations, where they manage and represents the company in rooftop solar PV projects. Their responsibilities include project management, coordination with various stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory requirements. Previously, Guilherme worked at Panasonic Eco Solutions Canada as an Operations and Maintenance Technician, where they carried out commissioning, field measurements, and maintenance tasks for solar PV systems. Prior to that, they served as an Operations and Maintenance Manager at EG Energy Management Inc., where they handled commissioning, field measurements, customer and supplier arrangements, and project documentation for solar plants. Guilherme also has experience as an Electrical Engineer at Overload Solar, a Technical Technician at DNV GL, and an Electrical Engineering Technician at Overload Service.

Guilherme Duarte, EIT began their education journey in 2010 at Universidade Federal Fluminense, where they pursued a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Guilherme successfully completed their degree in 2016. Additionally, from 2012 to 2015, Guilherme attended Cultura Inglesa to further their English language skills.

In terms of additional certifications, Guilherme holds a variety of qualifications. In 2012, they obtained a certification in Advanced Excel Skills from Senac RJ. In 2016, they acquired a certificate in Machine Learning through Coursera Course Certificates. Continuing their professional development, Guilherme obtained certifications such as Arc Flash & Shock Training from The Electricity Forum in 2019 and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System from OnlineWHMIS.ca™ - Canada's Trusted and Recognized WHMIS Training in 2019. In 2020, they obtained their IELTS General Training 7.5 certification from IELTS Official and Standard First Aid, CPR, and AED certification from St. John Ambulance Canada | Ambulance Saint-Jean. Recently, in 2021, they obtained a Working at Heights certification from NORCAT. Looking ahead, in 2023, Guilherme plans to earn certifications such as Become a Project Management Entrepreneur and Business Acumen for Project Managers, which will be awarded by LinkedIn.
