Irene Lai, CPA, CMA

Irene Lai, CPA, CMA has accumulated a range of experience over the years. Irene began their career at Passport Canada as a Passport Clerk from June 2012 to August 2012. Irene then moved on to First Student Canada, where they worked in Accounts Receivable from September 2013 to August 2015.

In 2015, Irene joined Hyundai GLOVIS as an Accounting Analyst, a position they held until December 2016. Irene then transitioned to the role of Sr. Accounting Analyst from January 2017 to March 2021. From September 2020 to March 2021, they took on the responsibility of Assistant Accounting Manager.

More recently, starting from March 2021, Irene has been employed at Potentia Renewables Inc. as a Senior Accountant. Irene has now progressed to the position of Accounting Manager as of January 2023.

Irene Lai, CPA, CMA has a Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies degree with a specialization in Accounting from Western University, which they obtained from 2009 to 2013. Irene is also certified as a CPA, CMA by the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada).
