Brian Schlect

Brian Schlect is currently the Assistant General Counsel at Rayonier, overseeing a 2.4 million acre land resources portfolio across multiple states. Previously, Schlect served as Counsel at Hathaway Larson LLP, focusing on M&A and corporate transactions, and held various roles, including Deputy General Counsel & Assistant Corporate Secretary at PotlatchDeltic Corporation. Additionally, Schlect gained valuable experience as a Judicial Law Clerk for Judge N.R. Smith at the U.S. Court of Appeals and as a Business Associate at Perkins Coie LLP. Schlect is pursuing a Doctor of Law degree at the University of Idaho College of Law and has also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences from New Saint Andrews College.
