Megan Schmidt is a qualified Mental Health Professional, certified by the Board of Health Professionals of Virginia, with extensive experience in mental health support and case management. Currently serving as a Program Support Specialist at Potomac Community Services since June 2022, Megan has previously worked as a Treatment Foster Care Case Worker at HumanKind and an Intensive In-Home Counselor at Family Insight, P.C., focusing on children with mental health diagnoses. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Family and Child Development from Liberty University. Additional experience includes various customer service roles in hospitality and retail, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with diverse individuals.

Influencing Generations One Life at a Time… Serving Washington, Carroll, and Frederick Counties PCMS focuses assisting clients and families to maintain the highest level of independence possible. Our services reach all ages from early childhood to geriatric care and for the most part is hugely responsible for helping clients remain in their home and avoid placement in a higher level of care, such as residential placement or hospitalization. Without case management services, many, if not most, of the clients being seen would not be able to maintain the "normalcy" of daily living.
