Robert Wade DO, FAAFP has been working in the medical field since 1998. Robert began their career as a Physician at Central Virginia Health Services, a role they held until 2003. In 2003, they became the Director/Physician of Charlotte Primary Care at Central Virginia Health Services, Inc. In 2005, they took on the role of Clinical Faculty at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine. In 2008, they became a Family Practice Physician at Centra Health, where they also served as Lead Physician and a board member of Centra Medical Group from 2010 to present. In 2009, they became the Director of Student Medical Education, Farmville Region at Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine. In this role, they provided oversight for third year medical students rotating through Farmville and Centra Southside Community Hospital. In 2018, they took on the role of Medical Director at Potomac Healthcare Solutions.
Robert Wade DO, FAAFP completed their Bachelor of Science in Biology, General from Hampden-Sydney College in 1987-1991. Robert then attended the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where they completed their Doctor of Osteopathy in 1995 and their Internship in Family Medicine in 1996. Robert concluded their education with a Family Medicine Residency Program-Blackstone Family Practice at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in 1996-1998.
