Charaun Wills

Charaun Wills has a diverse work experience in the field of education, with a focus on science teaching and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) coordination. Currently, Charaun holds the position of Lead Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Coordinator & Upper School Science Teacher at The Potomac School since August 2023. Previously, Charaun worked at Rye Country Day School as the Science Department Chair and Science Teacher from August 2014 to June 2021. During this time, Charaun also served as the Grade Level Dean, Fellow at the Institute for Innovative Teaching and Learning, and Upper School Diversity Coordinator. Charaun began their career as a Lower School Science Teacher at Georgetown Day School from August 2012 to June 2014.

Charaun Wills obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Adolescent Education and Biology from St. John's University in 2009. From 2010 to 2012, Charaun pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Science Teacher Education/General Science Teacher Education at Teachers College, Columbia University.
