Benedikt Bruckner is currently serving as a Research Analyst in Industrial Ecology at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research since June 2023. Prior to this role, Bruckner worked as a Scientific Assistant at the Mercator Research Institute on Global Commons and Climate Change from January to April 2023. Bruckner gained research experience as a Student Research Assistant at the University of Groningen from July 2021 to June 2022 and completed a project internship at UIV Urban Innovation Vienna GmbH in July 2020, contributing to the Decarb City Pipes 2050 Project. Earlier academic involvement includes serving as a Student Teaching Assistant at the University of Vienna from September 2017 to January 2019 and a project internship at RAG Austria AG, focusing on the Underground Sun Storage Project in July 2017. Bruckner holds a Master of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Groningen (2019-2022) and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Vienna (2015-2018).
