Dr. Chandan Jhaa currently serves as the Programme Lead for Sustainable Food Systems at the Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW) since July 2023 and is a Guest Researcher at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) since September 2019. Prior to these roles, Dr. Jhaa worked at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad as a Research Manager for the FABLE India Programme and as a Research Fellow (Post Doctoral) for the FABLE PATHWAYS (UN-SDSN) from July 2018 to July 2023. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Agriculture and Climate Change Adaptation and a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics from the Indian Institute of Management Mumbai, along with a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Economics from Banaras Hindu University.
