Renato Rodrigues is a Senior Researcher at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) since May 2017. Prior to this role, Renato was a Researcher at the Instituto de Investigación Tecnológica from June 2008 to March 2015. Renato holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Engineering, specializing in Electric Power Systems, obtained from Universidad Pontificia de Comillas - ICAI in Madrid, Spain, in 2017. Additionally, Renato earned a Master's Degree in Engineering, Electric Power Systems from the same institution in 2010. Earlier academic qualifications include a Master's Degree in Industrial Economics and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics, both from UFRJ - Rio de Janeiro Federal University in Brazil.
