Xiaoxi Wang

Xiaoxi Wang is an Assistant Professor on tenure track at Zhejiang University since 2019 and has served as a Guest Researcher at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research since 2020. Previous experience includes being an Affiliated Doctoral Researcher at IRIThesys from 2014 to 2019 and a Junior Researcher, Research Assistant, and Student Assistant at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research from 2011 to 2019. Xiaoxi Wang commenced a professional journey as an Intern at DIW Berlin in late 2010 and worked as a Project Assistant at ActionAid from 2008 to 2009. An academic background includes a PhD in Agricultural Economics from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (2013-2019) and an International Master of Science in Rural Development, specializing in Environmental and Resource Economics from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (2010-2011). Xiaoxi Wang also completed an International Master of Science in Rural Development, focusing on Agricultural Economics at Università di Pisa and Ghent University in 2009-2010, along with a Bachelor's degree in Development Studies from China Agricultural University (2004-2008).
