Jennie McCann

Jennie McCann has a diverse and extensive work experience history. Jennie currently holds the position of Managing Director at Pottermore Publishing since April 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Publishing Director at the same company starting from May 2018. Jennie also worked as the Head of Sales at Pottermore Publishing from November 2015 until April 2018.

Before joining Pottermore Publishing, Jennie held various positions at Orion Publishing Group and Little, Brown Book Group. Jennie worked as a Key Account Manager from October 2010 to October 2015, where they handled major wholesaler accounts and consistently met sales targets. Jennie also briefly covered as the Acting Online Key Accounts Director for Orion Publishing Group from July 2013 to December 2013, managing major digital accounts and online retailers.

Earlier in their career, they served as the Export Sales Manager at Orion Publishing Group from July 2006 to October 2010, responsible for sales in Scandinavia, Middle East, Southern Europe, and Russia. Prior to this, Jennie held the role of Export Sales Administrator from January 2005 to July 2006.

Aside from their publishing experience, Jennie has also been involved with the Michael Varah Memorial Fund since October 2008, serving as a Board Advisor and Chair of the Events Committee. In this role, they have contributed to raising over £250,000 for projects supporting second chances and individual opportunities.

Jennie McCann attended Guildford High School from 1990 to 1998. Jennie then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies and History at the University of Nottingham from 1999 to 2003.
