Project Engineer at Potters Industries

Carlos E. has a diverse work experience with a focus on engineering roles. Carlos started their career as a Student Researcher at Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea in 2006. Carlos then joined ITP - Industria de Turbo Propulsores (Precicast Bilbao) as a Graduate Engineer in 2008, where they supported the Engineering team and managed an R&D project. In 2010, they became a Process Engineer at the same company, responsible for the wax injection process, ceramic cores, and tooling. Carlos also led productivity and improvement plans.

From 2015 to 2017, Carlos worked as a Manufacturing Product Engineer at Chromalloy (Trac Precision Machining), managing improvement processes and performing data analysis. Then, they joined Plastic Omnium as a Plant/Process Engineer, focusing on process optimization and managing internal projects.

Most recently, Carlos worked at DOGA as an Industrialisation Process Engineer from 2019 to 2022. In this role, they devised new assembly processes, estimated manufacturing costs, and designed tooling for assembly and machinery.

Currently, Carlos is a Project Engineer at Potters Industries, starting in 2022.

Carlos E. has a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea, which they obtained from 2002 to 2008. In 2014 to 2015, they pursued further education at Cranfield University, where they earned an MSc in Thermal Power with a focus on Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical/Space Engineering.

Additionally, Carlos E. has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2021, they obtained an AMFE certification from Centro de Estudios y Asesoramiento Metalúrgico (CEAM). In 2019, they completed the R552-IRC5 ABB Robot Programming & Operation certification from ABB. In 2018, they attained the QPLS3x: Lean Production certification from Technical University Munich. Carlos E. also received the PPAP Co-Ordinator (Rolls-Royce) certification from Industry Forum in 2016. In 2011, they obtained the Master CATIA V5 certification from Grupo CT. Furthermore, they hold the Cambridge Advanced 2010 (C1) certification from Cambridge Assessment English, which they acquired in 2010. Lastly, Carlos E. completed the Diseño 3D NX6 Avanzado certification from Análisis y Simulación in 2009.
