Don Blackhurst

Don Blackhurst has a strong work history in the manufacturing and engineering industry. Don began their career in 1986 at AFG Industries as a Cold End Supervisor and remained in this role until 1988. Following this, they joined Potters Industries/PQ Corp in 1988 and held various roles including Process Development Engineer, Plant Manager, Global Quality and Engineering Manager, and Quality Director. Don spent a total of 30 years at Potters Industries/PQ Corp before transitioning to their current position at Potters Industries in 2018. At Potters Industries, they initially served as the Director of Manufacturing and Engineering from May 2018 to November 2021, and then was promoted to the role of Vice President of Manufacturing and Engineering in July 2021.

Don Blackhurst attended Rutgers University from 1982 to 1986, where they pursued a BS/MS degree in Ceramic Engineering.
