Olga Montes

Olga Montes has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Olga is currently the Head of FP&A Europe at Potters Industries since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Clínica Eugin as the Corporate Controlling Manager from July 2020 to May 2022 and as the International Controlling Manager from June 2018 to June 2020.

From 2015 to 2018, Olga was employed at Brico Depot España & Portugal (Grupo Kingfisher) as the Retail Corporate Controller. Olga was responsible for financial control and management at Brico Depot Iberia, which operated in France, Spain, Romania, and Portugal.

Before joining Brico Depot, Olga worked at AREAS, S.A. as the International Financial Controller from June 2014 to December 2014. Olga was based in Barcelona and was in charge of financial control for subsidiaries in the US, Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Dominican Republic, St. Maarten, Morocco, and Portugal. Olga also had an interim role as CFO at Areas Morocco during this time.

Olga's previous experience includes working at Areas USA Inc. from November 2006 to June 2014 as an International Financial Controller. Areas USA Inc. is the US subsidiary of AREAS, S.A., specializing in food and beverage, news, gifts, and specialty retail at US airports and turnpikes.

Prior to that, Olga served as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at AEROCOMIDAS S.A. DE C.V. MEXICO DF, the Mexican subsidiary of AREAS, S.A., from September 2004 to November 2006.

Olga started their career at Areas in Barcelona, Spain in June 2001 as a Business Controller. Olga was responsible for financial controlling in Mexico and the Airport Section in Spain. Olga provided analytical support to business managers for forecasting and current results.

Olga Montes has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Contabilidad y finanzas, which they obtained from Universitat de Barcelona in the years 1996 to 2000. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in East Asian Studies at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya from 2010 to 2012. In 2015, they joined La Salle BCN for a short-term course and obtained a certification as a SAP Certified Application Associate in Financial Accounting with SAP ERP 6.0 EHP6. In the same year, they also pursued a Master's degree in Consultoría Funcional SAP at La Salle BCN.
