Christy Malara

Christy Malara is an Educational Addiction Counselor at Turning Point Alcohol and Drug Centre since January 2008. Christy handles treatment and interactions with clients and parents, data entry, paperwork, and reports. Christy also has on-call duties, works with authorities, and is certified in medical and CPR/First Aid. Christy trains new staff and interns, facilitates drug and alcohol groups, and volunteers as a Smart Recovery advisor. Additionally, Christy is a head softball coach at Poudre High School, overseeing scheduling, budgeting, and compliance with CHSAA rules. Christy is also a physical education paraprofessional at Poudre School District, educating youth on fitness, skills, and sportsmanship while organizing intramural activities. Furthermore, Christy coached at Fossil Ridge Softball from 2014 to 2015 and holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Services from the University of Northern Colorado.
