Deanna Guerrette-Medley has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Deanna began their teaching career in 2000 at Carden of the Peaks Private School, where they taught elementary students until 2006. Deanna then worked as a front of house staff member for the Blue Man Group from 2007 to 2008. In 2011, Deanna held freelance writing positions at The InkStand and Qittle. Deanna also worked as a sales associate at Loopy Ewe from 2014 to 2016. In 2015, they served as a teacher at Christian Core Academy, Inc. Deanna had a brief stint as a student teacher at Poudre School District in 2017 before becoming a language arts teacher at Weld County School District RE 1, where they worked from 2017 to 2020. Deanna is currently an ongoing language arts teacher at Poudre School District starting in 2020.
Deanna Guerrette-Medley's education history includes various academic institutions and degrees. In 1995, they began their undergraduate studies at the University of Arizona and completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and French in 1999. In 2008, Deanna briefly attended the University of Las Vegas, focusing on English Literature without obtaining a degree. In 1999, they attended the University of Denver Publishing School for a short period to further their knowledge in publishing. Recently, in 2015, they pursued a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in English Language and Literature, General from Colorado State University, which they completed in 2017. Currently, Deanna is studying at the University of Northern Colorado and working towards a Master of Arts in Teaching degree with a focus on Education, which they are expected to complete in the future.
