Dougy Wond

Dougy Wond has extensive work experience in the IT and engineering fields. Dougy started their career at Tandem as a Debug Technician in 1996. Dougy then joined Compaq, where they worked as a Test Engineer II from 1997 to 1999 and as a Test Engineer VI (Master) from 1999 to 2001. At Compaq/Hewlett Packard, they served as a Test Engineering Manager II-IV from 2001 to 2007, overseeing manufacturing engineering teams and implementing global production and reverse logistics strategies. Dougy then joined Hewlett-Packard as a Development Engineering Manager for the NonStop Division from 2007 to 2010, where they managed various engineering groups and was responsible for the development, validation, and support of products and platforms. From 2010 to 2013, they worked as a Development Engineering Manager for the NonStop/Business Critical Server Divisions, where they managed hardware quality and engineering activities. Dougy then transitioned to the role of a Senior Engineering Program Manager at Hewlett-Packard from 2013 to 2015, leading various global supply chain IT projects and test management improvement initiatives. Currently, Dougy Wond is employed at Poudre School District as an IT Enterprise Architect since November 2018 and previously worked as a Senior Software Developer from 2015 to 2018. In these roles, they provided technical guidance, coordinated development efforts, and facilitated business process improvements and data systems integration.

Dougy Wond completed their Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from the University of York, York, England, UK. Dougy attended this university from 1991 to 1994. Following their undergraduate studies, Dougy pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Integrated Manufacturing from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Scotland, UK. Dougy enrolled in this program from 1994 to 1995.
