Jayme Harper has a diverse work experience in multiple roles and industries. Jayme began their career in 2017 as a Special Education Paraprofessional at Shepardson STEM Elementary School, where they supported students on IEPs and received training in Crisis Prevention. From 2019 to 2020, they worked as a Spiritual Care Resident at Columbine Health Systems, serving as an ecumenical chaplain to residents of senior living facilities. In 2020, they took on the role of Learning Coach and Freelance Writer. Currently, starting in 2021, they are working as a Paraprofessional/Skills Trainer and Project SEARCH Instructor at Poudre School District, supporting students ages 18-21 in an employment readiness program.
Jayme Harper has a diverse education history. They obtained a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Loyola University Chicago between 1995 and 1999. Later, from 2003 to 2005, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Pastoral Ministry from Boston College. More recently, starting in 2022 and expected to conclude in 2025, they are pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Special Education from the University of Northern Colorado.
