Mark Bartlett has a diverse work experience, starting in 2007 as a Playgrounds Supervisor at the Robert A. Lee Recreation Center. In 2008, they volunteered as a Camp Counselor at Children's Cancer Connection and served as a Morale Captain and later as Entertainment Chair at the University of Iowa Dance Marathon. In 2009, they worked as a Supervisor at Hoover On Campus Care. From 2008 to 2010, they were a Soccer Coach and Substitute Teacher at the Iowa City Community School District. Mark then joined Millard Public Schools in 2010, where they taught 4th Grade and worked collaboratively with colleagues to plan lessons and implement advanced classroom technology. Mark also analyzed student data and differentiated instruction for diverse learners. Mark currently works as a Physical Education Teacher in the Poudre School District and has previously taught 5th, 4th, and 3rd grades, as well as served as an Intervention Specialist.
Mark Bartlett attended the University of Iowa from 2004 to 2009 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. Mark then pursued further education at the University of Colorado Boulder from 2015 to 2018, earning a Master of Education degree (MEd) with a focus on Educational Equity and Cultural Diversity.
