Early Childhood Operations Manager at Poudre School District

Sarah C. has a diverse work experience in the education field. Sarah started their career as a 1st Grade Teacher at Alief ISD in 1999, where they implemented a balanced literacy approach and achieved significant improvements in student reading levels. Sarah completed a Reading Recovery class and the First Grade Teacher Reading Academy. From 2002 to 2004, they worked as a Teacher at Monte Cassino School, specializing in Pre-Kindergarten education. There, they created individualized curricula, organized learning centers, and developed methods to challenge students ready to read. Sarah then joined Jenks Public Schools in 2004 as a First Grade Teacher. In addition to their teaching responsibilities, they became the grade chairman and a member of the technology team. Currently, Sarah works at Poudre School District as an Early Childhood Operations Manager, a role they started in November 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Early Childhood Coach from July 2014 to November 2022.

Sarah C. attended Oklahoma State University from 1994 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Family Relations and Child Development. During the same period, they also pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Oklahoma State University.
