Erika Riethmiller

Erika Riethmiller is an accomplished privacy and compliance expert with extensive experience in the healthcare sector. Currently serving as Vice President and Chief Privacy Officer at UCHealth since October 2018, Erika has previously held the position of Director of Corporate Privacy at Anthem, Inc. from May 2014 to September 2018 and acted as Privacy Officer for the State of Colorado’s Department of Health Care Policy & Financing between July 2009 and May 2014. Erika’s contributions to the field include leadership roles such as Past President and Board Member of the Colorado Healthcare Associated Risk Managers. Previous positions also include Risk Manager and Director of Provider Compliance & Privacy at SERIO Physician Management from January 2003 to July 2009. Erika holds a Masters of Science in Health Systems Management from Rush University, a Graduate Certificate in Health Care Corporate Compliance from The George Washington University, and a Bachelor of Arts in German Language and Literature and International Relations from The Ohio State University.
