Mike Mitchell

Mike Mitchell, MD, MBA, currently serves as the Medical Director of Virtual Health at UCHealth since January 2021 and has held multiple leadership roles within the organization, including Associate Medical Director of the UCHealth Virtual Health Center and Medical Director of Quality and Safety for Longs Peak and Broomfield Hospitals. In addition to these positions, Mike Mitchell has been the Chief of Staff and Emergency Physician at UCHealth Broomfield Hospital since June 2016 and has served as the Regional Medical Director for Denver Metro Free Standing Emergency Departments at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus since July 2018. Prior experience includes working as an Emergency Medicine Physician at Tucson Medical Center from July 2014 to August 2016. Mike Mitchell earned an MBA in Health Care Administration/Management from the University of Texas at Tyler (2017-2018), a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Washington - School of Medicine (2007-2011), and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Brigham Young University (2004-2007).
