Danielle Oliva is a seasoned educator and real estate professional with extensive experience in physical education and teaching. Currently, Oliva serves as a Physical Education Teacher at Poughkeepsie City School District since September 2016 and previously held positions in similar roles at Marlboro High School and Hyde Park Central School District. Oliva's teaching experience also includes a tenure as a Permanent Substitute Teacher at Beacon City School District. In addition to teaching, Oliva has been a NYS Licensed Realtor with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices since March 2015. PCSD is organized into one high school, one middle school, and five elementary schools. Under the District’s Strategic Plan each school has been designated as a Community School. Under the Community School Initiative, PCSD seeks to increase its impact on student learning by strengthening and employing effective practices that lead to in and out of school success.
