Ryan Sharpe, JD, currently serves as a Senior Assistant Public Defender at the Dutchess County Public Defender’s Office, where responsibilities include handling a variety of criminal matters and providing legal representation in family-related offenses. Previously, Ryan held positions as an Assistant Public Defender, Principal at a law office, and various attorney roles at prestigious law firms. In addition, Ryan is active in local governance as a Town Board Councilmember for the Town of Poughkeepsie, a Licensed Real Estate Broker at Patrick City Realty, and the host of the What A Word! Podcast. Ryan holds a Juris Doctor from Cardozo School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies from John Jay College (CUNY).
