Sue Melnick has extensive experience in education, currently serving as Principal at Garden Road Elementary School within Poway Unified School District since September 2014. Previous roles include Assistant Principal at Del Sur Elementary School and Education Specialist. Sue has also worked as a Private Tutor for grades K-12 from January 2007 to June 2018, providing personalized instruction across various subjects. Additionally, Sue has held multiple positions within Coronado Unified School District, including Special Education Teacher for resource and special day classes. Earlier experiences include roles as a Home Hospital Teacher with St. Mary's County Public Schools, Special Education Teacher at Hanford Elementary School District, and a Contract Auditor and Marketing Administrative Representative with IBM. Sue holds a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Old Dominion University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from William & Mary.
