Barthélémy Kiss

Barthélémy Kiss has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Barthélémy is currently the Co-founder & CEO of Powder, a position they have held since February 2023. Prior to this, they were the Co-founder & CGO/COO of Powder from May 2018 to February 2023. Additionally, Barthélémy was a Co-Author at The Defensible Startup from September 2020 to present.

Moreover, they have been an Angel Investor since January 2016, making 38 early-stage investments with a focus on content creation and distribution. Notable investments include Artomatix, which was acquired by Unity, Enginn, and Gladia. Prior to becoming an investor, Barthélémy served as the Co-founder & COO of Artomatix from August 2015 to September 2018, where they played a key role in securing funding, scaling the organization, and developing product strategies.

Before their ventures in startups and investing, Barthélémy worked as the Lead of Innovation Observatory at Institut de l'entreprise from May 2014 to September 2017. Barthélémy also played a crucial role in popularizing the concept of Deep Tech as the Founding Team & Managing Director of Hello Tomorrow, a nonprofit organization, from October 2013 to July 2015.

Barthélémy's earlier experiences include working as a Strategy Consultant at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) from October 2011 to June 2014, and as an Analyst in M&A at Rothschild from January 2010 to June 2010. Barthélémy also served as an Advisor at Institut de l'entreprise and an Auditor at Inspection des finances in 2011 and 2010 respectively.

Barthélémy Kiss obtained their Master's degree in Finance & Strategy from Sciences Po, where they studied from 2005 to 2010. Later, in 2019, they pursued a brief course in Growth Hacking at LaGrowthFormation.
