Joel Olicker

Joel Olicker has a long history of work experience. Joel began their career in 1982 as a Faculty Member at Hampshire College. In 1985, they moved to the WGBH Educational Foundation as a Producer/Director/Editor. In 1994, they became the CEO of Powderhouse, Inc., a video storytelling company focusing on engineering, life sciences, tech, and innovation. Their work has been seen by millions of people across the globe and has been recognized with multiple awards.

Joel Olicker attended Bronx High School of Science from 1975 to 1977, where they received their diploma. Joel then attended Hampshire College from 1977 to 1981, where they earned a B.A. in Communications.
