Pete Damerell

Pete Damerell is an IP litigator and UPC representative with extensive experience in contentious intellectual property matters, including patent, trademark, design right, and copyright disputes. Pete has handled complex and high-value patent litigation both in the UK courts and the Unified Patent Court. Currently a partner at Powell Gilbert, one of the UK's leading intellectual property law firms, Pete collaborates with international legal advisers to coordinate multi-jurisdictional patent litigation strategies. Prior to this, Pete served as a senior associate solicitor at Stevens & Bolton LLP and Powell Gilbert, and held positions at Herbert Smith and IBM UK Ltd. Pete holds degrees from the University of Oxford, University of Bristol, and Nottingham Law School.
