Dr. Leslie Slagel

Dr. Leslie Slagel serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Clinical Director at POWER (Pennsylvania Organization for Women in Early Recovery), roles held since February 2019 and May 2017, respectively. With a robust background in mental health therapy, Dr. Slagel has also held significant positions including Program Director at White Sands Treatment Center and Executive Director at Brooktree Health Services. Previous experience includes serving as Clinical Director at Family Resources and Direct Services Manager at the Women's Center & Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh. Dr. Slagel obtained a PhD in Counselor Education & Supervision from Duquesne University between 2004 and 2009.
