Cormac Close began their work experience in 2015 as a Policy Research Intern at the Campaign for America's Future. In 2016, they worked as a Communications Intern at Americans for Financial Reform and as an Intern at the Office of US Senator Angus King. In 2017, Cormac worked as a Legislative Affairs Intern at the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget. Currently, they are employed as a Quality Assurance Engineer at Power Auctions LLC since November 2018.
From 2014 to 2018, Cormac Close attended Oberlin College, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Economics.
