Jocelyn Lefebvre

Vice-Chairman, Europe at Power Corporation of Canada

Jocelyn Lefebvre is the current Vice-Chairman of Power Corporation of Canada. Jocelyn has held various positions at different companies throughout their career.

Lefebvre started their career as an auditor at Arthur Andersen & Co. in Montreal from September 1980 to April 1982. Jocelyn then became a manager at Arthur Andersen & Co. in Brussels from April 1982 to April 1985. After their time in Brussels, they moved back to Canada and became the Assistant to the Executive VP at Société Générale de Financement du Québec (SGF) from September 1985 to December 1985.

In January 1986, they started working at Marine Industry Limited (MIL Group) as the Assistant to the CEO. Jocelyn then became the VP of H.R., M&A and Corporate Affairs from January 1987 to December 1991. Lefebvre also served as the CEO of Vickers Canada from June 1987 to December 1991.

After their time at MIL Group and Vickers Canada, they rejoined Power Corporation of Canada and has been there ever since.

Jocelyn Lefebvre has a Baccalauréat en administration des affaires - BAA from HEC Montréal in the field of Comptabilité Publique. Jocelyn also has a DEC from Collège Jean de Brébeuf in Montreal in the field of Sciences Pures et Sciences de la Santé and a DES from Collège Bourget in Rigaud, Canada in the field of Sciences. Jocelyn is also a member of l'Ordre des CA et CPA du Canada and the Ordre des Comptables Agréés Canadiens.

Their manager is R. Jeffrey Orr, President and Chief Executive Officer. Jocelyn Lefebvre works with Michel Plessis-Bélair - Vice-Chairman, Charles Dumont - Vice President, Strategy, and Paul C. Genest - Senior Vice President.
