Alfred Mendelsohn

Alfred Mendelsohn is an accomplished industry professional with extensive experience in the electric utility T&D sector. As the Owner and President of Power Delivery Solutions, Inc. since July 2009, Alfred has provided consulting services to suppliers of products and services in this industry. Prior to this role, Alfred spent over three decades at Dow Chemical, culminating as a Senior R&D Leader, where responsibilities included technical marketing, intellectual property strategy, and promoting power cable products globally. Alfred's career also includes significant positions at Union Carbide Corporation, where Alfred led product development projects and managed large research teams. Earlier academic experience as an Assistant Professor at City College focused on teaching thermodynamics and fluid mechanics. Alfred holds advanced degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Physics from the City University of New York.
