Lukas Sigrist

Lukas Sigrist currently serves as the Deputy Director for Economic Affairs and holds the position of Research Associate Professor at Instituto de Investigación Tecnológica, where involvement spans from April 2007 to the present. Additionally, Lukas served as Deputy Director for Institutional Relations and engaged in various capacities as a Research Assistant Professor and Doctoral Student. Since July 2019, Lukas has been the Treasurer for the IEEE Power & Energy Society Spanish Chapter and has been a member of the Working Group 2018-3 for CIRED since September 2018. From August 2017 to March 2023, Lukas acted as an Associate Editor for IET GTD. Academic achievements include a PhD in Electrical Engineering and a Master's in Electric Energy Systems from Universidad Pontificia Comillas, as well as a Master's in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from EPFL and experience as a Visiting Student in Industrial Engineering at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
