Ernst van Vondel Ca (SA)

Ernst van Vondel CA(SA) has a diverse range of work experience in the finance and accounting field. Ernst began their career as a Trainee Accountant at Fisher Hoffman Sithole in 1998, where they worked until 1999. Ernst then joined BDO Spencer Steward Inc. Cape Town as a Trainee Accountant, working there from 2001 to 2003. In 2003, they joined Power Construction (Pty) Ltd as an Internal Auditor and later served as the Financial Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Finance Department at Power Construction (Pty) Ltd, where they are responsible for accounting, treasury, financing, and IT. Throughout their career, Ernst has demonstrated a strong understanding of financial management and has played a key role in providing strategic and operational direction to the companies they have worked for.

Ernst van Vondel CA(SA) completed their Matric degree at High School Brackenfell from 1991 to 1995. Ernst then pursued a National Diploma in Marketing at Cape Peninsula University of Technology in 1996, followed by a National Diploma in Internal Auditing at the same institution from 1997 to 1999.

In 2000, Ernst van Vondel CA(SA) completed a Post Grad Dip Management (Financial Accounting) at the University of Cape Town. Ernst then pursued a BComptHons degree in Accounting at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2001.

Finally, in 2003, Ernst van Vondel CA(SA) obtained a CA(SA) degree in Accounting and Finance from the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.
