Dan Casio

Dan Casio has a strong background in IT infrastructure and support. Dan currently holds the position of Sr IT Infrastructure Engineer at Power Integrations, starting in July 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Illumina for 8 years, from 2012 to 2020, first as a Systems Administrator and later as the Hayward site lead, supporting over 200 users. Dan also provided global help desk support and Tier 3 technical support for Windows desktop systems, software, and networking. Before that, they worked at GE ITS as a Network Engineer, responsible for hardware and software support for 100 users at the Sunnyvale site and field users across GE Healthcare. Dan also maintained Windows desktops and applications. Their career started at GE Healthcare as a Sr. Technical Support Specialist, providing 2nd level help desk support for over 400 users, assisting with domain conversions, software installations, and network configuration and administration.

Dan Casio attended Masters Institute from 1996 to 1997, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Systems Administration. Following this, they pursued a bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from San Jose State University, from 1998 to 2002.
