Guy Clark has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Guy started their career as an Electrical Engineer at Siemens Building Technologies, where they focused on developing human interface and I/O circuitry for building controllers. Guy then worked as a Test Engineer at Hospira, where they utilized their problem-solving skills to test hospital IV pumps and addressed air "generation" issues. At Flextronics, they completed functional test beds for an electrical power conditioner and worked on functional test fixtures for remote wireless home medical monitors. Guy also had contract roles as a Test Engineer at Savi Technology, where they tested prototypes of products, and at Hospira, where they performed validation engineering for medical infusion pumps. Additionally, they worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at Finesse Solutions, where they wrote work instructions and participated in quality control checkouts. Guy also had a contract role as a Validation Engineer at Hospira, where they designed protocols, procedures, and testing scripts. Prior to that, they worked as an Electrical Engineer (contract) at Lumenetix Inc. designing LED pendant lights and as an Applications Engineer at Jade Sky Technologies, developing LED driver ICs. Currently, they are working as a PCB Engineer at Power Integrations, laying out PCBs primarily for Switch Mode Power Supplies and assisting with component selection and database management.
Guy Clark attended the University of Illinois Chicago from 1974 to 1978, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Cell Physiology. From 1978 to 1983, they pursued further education at the same university and earned another Bachelor of Science degree, this time in BioEngineering. Afterwards, in 1983, Clark enrolled in the University of Illinois Chicago once again, this time for a master's level program in Metallurgy, but did not obtain a degree.
