Jared Joseph Baniqued has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. Jared Joseph started their career as an Intern at Artesyn Embedded Technologies in 2017. Jared Joseph then worked as a Student Assistant at UP EEEI Power Electronics Lab in 2018 before becoming a Graduate Assistant at Smart Plant Production in Controlled Environments (SPICE) later that same year.
In 2019, Jared joined the University of the Philippines as a Development Engineer for the UPD Virtual Barrier Project. Their role involved developing a car entry monitoring system using RFID sensors and cameras.
Jared continued their professional journey in 2020 by joining the UP Manila College of Medicine - Surgical Innovation and Biotechnology Laboratory (SIBOL) as a Technical Consultant. Jared Joseph was later promoted to Science Research Specialist II and worked on the development of the SaniPod project, which aimed to disinfect front liners with automation and sensors.
From 2020 to 2021, Jared worked as a Science Research Specialist II at Smart Plant Production in Controlled Environments (SPICE). Here, they contributed to the integration of electronics, sensors, and automation for urban farming and plant conservation in controlled environments.
Currently, Jared is working at Power Integrations as a Power Supply Design Engineer, starting in 2021.
Jared Joseph Baniqued has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of the Philippines, which they obtained from 2012 to 2018. Prior to that, they attended De La Salle Santiago Zobel School from 2009 to 2012, but no specific degree or field of study was provided for that period.
In terms of additional certifications, Jared has obtained several qualifications. In November 2020, they completed the following courses: "Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python)" and "Python Data Structures" from Coursera, as well as "The 3D Printing Revolution" from the same institution.
Furthermore, Jared has obtained professional certifications from the Philippine Professional Regulation Commission. In November 2018, they became certified as an Electronics Engineer and Electronics Technician. Additionally, in August 2017, they obtained the certification for Occupational First Aid and BLS- Adult CPR with AED for Lay Rescuers from the Philippine Red Cross.
