Kou Hung

Kou Hung has extensive work experience in engineering and device technology. Kou is currently working as a Staff Device Engineer at Power Integrations since November 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Toshiba Electronic Devices & Storage Corporation as an Engineer from July 2017 to October 2022. Kou also has experience at Toshiba, where they held the positions of Engineer from January 2013 to June 2017 and Researcher from January 2010 to December 2012. Kou served as a Private in the Taiwanese Army from July 2008 to May 2009. Kou also has teaching experience as a Lecturer at Far East University from September 2004 to June 2006. Additionally, they have gained industry experience through internships at Nanya Technology Corporation in July to September 2001 and the LCD Manufacturing Factory of Nanya Plastics Corporation in July to September 1999.

Kou Hung completed their Master of Business Administration degree from the Graduate School of Business Sciences at the University of Tsukuba in the years 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from National Cheng Kung University between 2004 and 2008. During their doctoral studies, they also had the opportunity to be an exchange student at Tohoku University in 2007-2008, where they focused on GaN-related materials for optical communications. Before their doctoral studies, Kou Hung earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electronics Engineering and Electrical Engineering from National Cheng Kung University, which they completed from 2002 to 2004.
