Chris O'Kane

Chris O'Kane is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in commercial finance and accounting. Currently serving as Commercial Finance Manager at Power NI since September 2023, Chris previously held the same role at Energia from May 2020 to February 2024, along with a position as Generation Accountant. Prior to that, Chris was a Project Accountant at EnergiaGroup from July 2018 to April 2020, and worked as Assistant Manager at Grant Thornton (NI) LLP from September 2017 to July 2018. Chris's career also includes a senior role in Forensic and Investigation Services at Grant Thornton Ireland and experience as a Client Services Accountant at Augentius. Chris began the professional journey as a Chartered Accountant at Jones Peters. Chris holds a Diploma in Forensic Accounting and is a qualified Chartered Accountant through Chartered Accountants Ireland. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Queen's University Belfast.
