Eddee Helms

Eddee Helms has a diverse work experience spanning different creative roles. Eddee currently holds a position at PowerA as a Sr. Creative Director, which they started in January 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Creative Director at PowerA from December 2018 to May 2021.

Before joining PowerA, Eddee worked at Forrest-Pruzan Creative as a Design Manager from October 2015 to April 2018, where they led a team of designers and illustrators in the creation of various projects. Eddee also held the role of Product Designer at the same company from October 2014 to October 2015.

From 2012 to 2014, Eddee worked as a Design Manager at SmartLab Toys, overseeing the development of packaging, educational books, and marketing materials. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Designer at the same company from 2008 to 2012 and was responsible for art direction and brand management.

Earlier in their career, Eddee worked as a Designer at becker&mayer! from 2005 to 2008, handling publications for the Juvenile book division and SmartLab Toys. Eddee also co-owned and worked as a Designer at Blue Collar Studio from 1998 to 2005.

Eddee's career started with an internship at Tim Girvin Design in 1996, and they also worked as a Design Associate at Graphiti Associates from 1997 to 1998 and at Frank's Place from 1996 to 1997.

Prior to their creative career, Eddee served in the US Navy as a Radioman Third Class from 1990 to 1994, where they managed a tech control team and oversaw communication operations during the Persian Gulf Wars.

Eddee Helms attended The Art Institutes from 1994 to 1996, where they earned an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Graphic Design/Illustration.
