Gale Hawkins

Gale Hawkins began their career in 1970 as a Computer Operater/Programmer for Datco. In 1972, they moved to Phluger Tool and Die as a Machinist. In 1973, they joined the US Navy as a Second Class Petty Officer. In 1991, they established Hawkins Research, Inc. and added computer repair service in 1992. In 1995, they opened a retail computer store and computer programming in Murray, KY. In 1996, they started the PowerClaim property estimating project and sold the first copy in 1998.

Gale Hawkins obtained a Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in 1986, after completing a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Physics from the same college in 1984. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Psychology from Hardin-Simmons University in 1980. Gale also obtained a Certificate in Basic and Advanced Electronics from Naval Air Station Millington, TN in 1974-1975, a Certificate in Machinist from Mayfield/Graves Co. Vocational Schools in 1971-1972, and a Certificate in Computer Programming from Electronic Computer Programming Institute of Louisville in 1969-1970.
