Bernard Hofmann

Bernard Hofmann has extensive work experience in project management and purchasing roles in the automotive industry. Bernard is currently working as the Head of Project Steering and Supplier Management Components at PowerCo SE since July 2022. Prior to their current role, they worked at Volkswagen AG where they served as a Project Manager Industrialization from May 2022 to June 2022, Head of Project Purchasing and Project Steering from August 2019 to April 2022, and Team Lead Project Purchasing from January 2018 to July 2019. Before joining Volkswagen AG, they worked at Volkswagen Group China as a Senior Project Coordinator Purchasing E-Drive from May 2015 to December 2017 and as a Senior Purchasing Officer in Purchasing Powertrain from January 2013 to February 2016. Bernard also worked at Volkswagen AG as a Purchasing Project Manager from April 2011 to December 2012 and as a Project Purchaser from September 2008 to April 2011.

Bernard Hofmann completed their Abitur at Kolleg St. Blasien in 2002. Subsequently, they attended RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau from 2002 to 2008 and obtained a Diplom-Wirtschaftsingenieur (Dipl.-Wirtsch.-Ing.) in the field of Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen.
