Daehoe Lee, Ph.D., currently serves as the Head of Chemical Design at PowerCo since October 2025. Prior to this role, Daehoe Lee held various positions at Northvolt from April 2020 to September 2025, including Senior Director of Cell Design and Director of Cell Design. Daehoe Lee's experience includes a role as Principal Research Engineer at Hyundai MOBIS from April 2018 to January 2020, and as Principal Engineer at Samsung SDI from September 2013 to March 2018, focusing on next-generation Li-ion batteries for electric vehicle applications. Daehoe Lee began a career at Samsung SDI in February 2005 as an Engineer. Daehoe Lee earned a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from UC San Diego and holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Engineering in Polymer Science & Engineering from Sungkyunkwan University.
